I was very pleased with the professional approach and helpful concerns with both drs I saw and felt extremely confident they listened and responded to my concerns. They explained my X-rays in detail and with understanding. I never had an experience with orthopedics myself but have with my spouse since 2023. It’s refreshing to have confidence someone else can be forthcoming with true facts. Thank You ! All of the staff we encountered were awesome also! You felt they were caring and honest. Very helpful from A-Z. I was very relaxed throughout every visit! Even in front of my spouse who was accompanying me. He requested to see Dr Schwartzman about his back & leg pain. Now we both are referred to Physical Therapy at Brooks Rehab where we both attend at same times. Very accommodating. Very helpful!
Terrible experience at this clinic. Be aware. Dr. Garrett Scharzmann barely spent 30 minutes with us. I called in advance and got the price. Checked-in and no one ever mentioned that would be additional extras charges later. Even when you pay out of pocket, they'll find ways to charge you later, as they wish, even that you barely spent 30 minutes there and no exams or additional info was requested. Nothing. Then a month later, you receive a collection call. It's because of companies like UF Health and Dr. like Garrett that the healthcare system is the way that it's in the US.
My husband and I had a great experience there last year with his shoulder and my wrist..but I had waited and waited to see a doctor about my sciatica pain and just wanted a shot but the Dr said he is a surgeon, he doesn't do injections...so ridiculous. After I had waited for three weeks. .If I had known that I would have never went there and don't plan on going back ever again for any kind of back pain....I sure do miss St Augustine Orthopedics...they were the best there.....Oh and by the way, Dr Grimes is also a surgeon but he does injections....and so did my PA at St Augustine Orthopedics.....Guess I will stay in pain till I get another appointment....somewhere else...
First appointment here. Arrived on time. Way over booked waiting an hour in front just so I can be moved to a room in the back to wait another 30 minutes or more in the back…… this will be close to a 2 hour wait or more to be seen for a appointment…. Someone should sue the system, life is short and no one should over book this much…
I mentioned suicide when describing how bad the pain is is, I just did realize that I became a surgical candidate for spondylolisthesis. Instead of talking to me in private, they finished the conversation and left the room made me think that I was waiting to be discharged and they called the cops I don’t even know what to say about that. I’ve been in and out of doctors office since I was eight years old. This is the biggest breach of Dr. patient trust I’ve ever experienced. I’ll never ever go back there again.
