I was able to get a same day appointment because I had a cold a little longer than usual. I saw the doctor for about 15min where she prescribed an antibiotic. Later I was billed $470 and the insurance cover just over half for in network services. UF Health sent me a bill for $206. Why does it cost almost $500 to get antibiotics?
