UF Health Family Medicine - Normandy

See update below from today 3/9/26 Love this office! I see Dr Brown (who will be leaving and practicing from another office soon - I will be following her as a great primarydoctor who works WITH you, listens to you and offers great advice is very hard to find) my son and husband see Dr Corpus - a straight shooter, compassionate man) Two great doctors!! The staff is wonderful as well. Jason especially is a great partner for all patients. Great communication & caring people. Highly recommend for any & all your PCP needs!! Update 3/9- I am changing my review to 1 start due to a interaction I just had with the office "manager" Milly. Stopped in to schedule an appointment with my son's primary care physician- Dr Corpus. My son is autistic and wanted to see his primary care doctor. Milly (nickname) walked over while the very nice lady at the desk was trying to make the appointment for us. Milly asked questions in a very condescending manner about what happened. I explained my son fell which resulted in a deep cup on his face, my husband took him to a walk in as it was an emergency. The cut has now healed and he now needs the stitches taken out. Milly told me to go back to the wall in, I told her no as it's more cost effective to use his primary from a insurance standpoint. Plus my son just wanted to see HIS dictor. Autistic people are very set in their ways. She told me to write his name down, I proceeded to provide the spelling to the gal at the desk as I hurt my hand. Molly walked away to a room in the back, a few minutes later Milly came back and told me Dr Corpus would not see us. I knew this was nonsense and made the appointment through our My Chart - which I should have done from the beginning. But I was in the area , and just decided to stop by... The office has always been very kind and helpful so I didn't think this was ever going to be a problem. Milly's behavior was totally unacceptable. I knew she was being difficult being she couldn't get me to back down. Again, my son is autistic & became very upset in the office. This behavior from a office "manager " was very uncalled for and very unprofessional. I called customer relations and am filing a complaint.

Love Dr . Lorenzo and his staff . Everyone is always so friendly , nice and supportive at each appointment. Love how Dr. Lorenzo listen to my concerns about my children and never delay anything I’ve asked for regarding the children. Very quick and easy to understand , listen , respond and do what is needed for my children .

If I was able to put 0 zero stars, I would have. I would recommend to everyone who goes to this office to switch doctors/offices as soon as possible. I've needed antibiotics for over a week now and would have had them if not for Corpus mistyping my prescription Info in and on top of that, he is taking days to go back and fix his mistake. All he has to do is call my pharmacy but he hasn't. Despite me calling and calling. I was listed high priority and have been ignored, hung up on and argued with and not helped. Still haven't gotten my antibiotics a week later.

New to the area and looking for a Dr. I went to this facility and saw a Dr. I had my labs done 2 weeks prior and had them with me. Dr went thru everything and submitted my prescriptions. Before I could go pick them up, he cancelled one of them. I called to enquire, and I was told it was because I didn't have labs done. I stated I did, and the Dr went over them with me line by line and then ordered the script. I was refused a diabetes medication that I have been on for years. Luckly I was able to get my Endo to prescribe the meds. As well the Dr told me he was going to order me a colonoscopy, he failed to do that as well. Immoral, unethical and not trustworthy. Back to searching for another Dr....
