PEOPLE, BEWARE: Dr. Registre fails to listen to his patients. He'd been absolutely dismissive with me, when I tried asking him to change my allergy medication (since it causes certain side effects); he said, "Are you worried more about the problem, or the side effects? Just take Zyrtec..." 👎👎 The OTC medication? I didn't need to see a doctor for that... Dang! 😡 Instead of telling me that garbage, he was supposed to figure out what's right for me and prescribe me something different... He'll never see me again. Period. If I decide for myself what meds to take, or not, why see any doctors at all? 🤔🤯
Doctor
The staff and Dr. Registre are very nice. My question is, is it customary not to order blood work on patients? His accent is so strong and he talks fast so it is very difficult to understand anything he's saying. I have elderly family who is a patient, I have yet to hear about them being told to get blood work, and so many pills, id think you would need to check levels at some point. How would you know about HDL/LDL/Total cholesterol. Just a little concerned.
The staff was amazing and for that I will say they deserve the star and maybe even two because the staff was super kind. But the Doctor was awful. He has very strong opinions and you know that there is an ongoing problem because he has to have another staff member with him as he goes through the appointment.
Awful experience. My mother's new patient appointment was at 10:15. They told us to arrive 30 minutes early so we arrived at 9:45. We were not even called back to the treatment room until after 12:00 and finally finished up around 1:15. When I asked one of the girls why it was taking so long she said they had several new patients which always takes a "little" longer. We will give the practice the benefit of the doubt and give it one more try. If the experience is the same, needless to say, I'll have to find my mother another PCP. UPDATE: Following my review, I received a call from the practice manager or administrator who seemed very interested and concerned about the negative experience. Since then, I've had to contact the practice several times for various documents and other matters concerning my mother. The staff has been extremely helpful and attentive and took the time to call us with an update on the status of all requests. Very professional and helpful. Although the follow-up contacts did not require an actual treatment appointment and involved other matters, I do feel the practice is making every effort to improve their overall daily procedures and I will absolutely take my mother back for her next appointment hopeful of a better experience for her.
My mother visited this location because she had a scheduled doctors appt. After working all night, she left work early to be at her appointment on time, only to get there and them tell her she didn't have an appointment. The lady at the front desk was very rude to my mother. Patients make appointments at doctors office for certain reason due to either being sick or routine appointments. The lady ask my mother if was she sick , and stated if she was, "she was going to have to ask her to leave". That would have to be the MOST rude and unprofessional thing I have ever heard. Doctors are there to service the sick and provide care and that is certainly not what took place today. We will definitely be looking for a more professional atmosphere in the near future.
