Doctor
I've been a patient of Dr. Diana's for over two years, and he has consistently provided exceptional care. However, today truly stood out. I came in going through an incredibly difficult time, one I wouldn't wish on anyone. From the moment I spoke with him, I was met with immediate compassion and understanding. In a moment when I needed kindness more than I even realized, he showed it without hesitation. Dr. Diana didn't just hear my concerns, he listened. People are often quick to share negative experiences, but I felt it was important to take a moment to recognize the exceptional care I received today. Today I received not only excellent medical care, but genuine human care. I highly recommend UF health Merrill and Dr. Diana.
I've been a patient here for years, and while I love my doctor, I typically am not seen in a timely manner with appointments running an hour or more behind schedule. And this hasn't happened just once or twice, it's most of the time. I recently made an appointment for the sole purpose of receiving a referral for an xray at a UF Healthcare imaging center and now that the x-ray has been completed, I am being told I have to schedule and pay for another appointment to discuss the results. The providers and staff at the office are very nice, but the business side of things makes you wonder if your health really is the priority for UF.
Don't waste you your time going here. Seems like they don't know what they doing. To have someone schedule an appointment before hand take the time out their day to come to the appointment on time. When you show up and provide proper ID and insurance card. They say oh we don't accept new patients whaat the hell why did you give me the paper work in first place then say oh we don't accept you. Oh and the manager is not in right now yeah right. Dr Susan Huffman you just lost a patient not coming here again!
Poor poor service! For the last year I have dealt with this office and my experiences each and every time have been terrible. From the long wait times (1-2 hours is the norm with an appointment) to their rude front desk staff, I have never had a one positive experience. Once I was there for almost 4 hours just for a medication refill. They also failed to notify me of a positive lab result. The incompetence is unbelievable. As a RN, it’s hard to believe this standard of healthcare is acceptable. Unfortunately I broke my ankle while Out of town on a ski trip, I called to get an urgent referral to an orthopedic Only to be told no doctor/ NP would be in the office for almost 10 days. So I guess patients are out of luck in case of emergencies like mine. Just unacceptable on all levels. Save yourself the headache and time and find another provider for your healthcare needs!
