Unfortunately, I found the receptionist to be rude and unwelcoming during our interaction. As a new patient, this was my first encounter with your office, and it left me feeling uncomfortable rather than confident about establishing care. I look else where.
Had a great experience as a new patient here, all of the staff and NP Sherry Sanders were awesome and got me set up for the treatment I need.
I have been using this location of UF Health for over 4 years now. The staff are very friendly and reliable. Communication with them is simple through the mychart system where I can see all of my test results and notes instantly. The level of care here is far beyond what I have found elsewhere in Jacksonville
Dr. Mann told my boyfriend he needed to eat more protein when we visited for intense abdominal pain. We followed up with a GI specialist the next day and my boyfriend has literally sprained a part of his intestine. Paid $300 out of pocket for that BS answer(bf didn't have insurance). Additionally, I saw Dr. Mann for my annual physical. I have been on a maintenance medication since 2020 (that people have died from if they quit cold turkey) yet when I ask for my medicine to be refilled I was told I need to come in for a visit. Why would I need to spend another 45$ for an office visit when nothing has changed since my annual, it's just at the 6month mark and they want more money so they cut my meds off. Spent 20 minutes on the phone for them to tell me they can't do anything but schedule me. I'm fed up with not being heard by their office and the blatant disrespect when it comes to my health concerns.
I had unexpected surgery day before yesterday and was wanting to be seen for postoperative care. I also needed fmla papers filled out asap. To me unexpected surgery is urgent!! I was told it would be a week before I could be seen and they would look over my fmla at my visit, I was welcome to see another provider. I agreed and no response. All they do is refer, refer and refer out to other doctors. My last appointment I felt like I had to beg for antibiotics. They say they take our concerns seriously, but nothing is ever done. I think this office needs to be audited by the medical board. They do not listen to patients concerns about their health, bc they have an "I know more than you attitude" I use telaheath for ALL my appointments unless it's something I need in person. They do not care about their patients. Just the paycheck.
