I recently saw Dr. Dial, and I’ll admit I was a little unsure what to expect after reading some of the Google reviews. However, my experience was a good one. Dr. Dial is very stern and straightforward—if you can’t take constructive criticism, he might not be the doctor for you, but I appreciated his honesty. We were also joined by Chanel, who was incredibly informative and helpful when it came to discussing autism. Her insight made the visit even better. Overall, I was satisfied with our appointment. The office was nicely and artistically decorated, and the front desk staff was very kind to my son. I’m glad we gave this office a chance.
Doctor
Rohan Anil Dial Worst Pediatrician Ever had seen my daughter. Read to the end If you are looking for the best care, professional treatment, someone who truly cares about the health and well being of your son or daughter. From the bottom of my heart I advise you to NEVER let this individual and his staff see your children. When I had a referral with my daughter to this facility I read the reviews about this doctor and decided to give him a chance because people sometimes are not fair when they give reviews. It was the worst mistake we made as a family. Not only was what the other parents wrote true, but in my experience I have experienced the lack of humanity and care for the children that go there. This gentleman has refused to sign a form that is necessary to finish the process in order for her to begin her therapies. It is all a problem of ego and unprofessionalism. They don't care about the well being and recovery of the children, they only care about money and nothing else. Especially this gentleman. From the bottom of my heart, I recommend you to look for another specialist and if possible another institution because this one definitely does not care about your children. I don't know how they are in the Tricare Network when they continually break the conditions and agreements with Tricare. I am going to report them because what they are doing is wrong. My daughter needs this ABA therapy and because they are refusing to help, it will be delayed....hope Karma catch you all and I am going to seek for legal advices on this issue because it is completely and outrageous how they are behaving, they have even the audacity to send an email saying they will not assist anymore because they were being contacted by the Hospital and the Tricare.....that's illegal especially when they are breaking the conditions to be on the Tricare network. For those that has been affected by this man, here it is the POC to report him and his staff to the US Department of Health.
It took them over 3 months to call me back just to get scheduled. When they did call me back the "inital convo line" was NOT OK to say to a parent. We received a referral for developmental pediatrics, are you concerned about Autism? Um isn't that what a developmental pediatrician is for, to diagnose? Why would I, as a parent, diagnose or assume? There are better ways to address a parents concerns than that. "What are your concerns?, etc..."
Finally after months of waiting to be seen by a neuro developmental pediatrician. We were scheduled to see Dr Rohan dail. Af first I was very skeptical with my 3yr old son because he was having one of those days but he sat through the ADOS test and we waited to see Dr dail. From the moment he walked in I felt uneasy in his approach upon saying hi. He looked at me funny like judging me and proceeded to speak to my son. He tested my son through play and made these awakened faces at me as my son passed the test and then asked me what’s wrong with your son he seems fine. I then tried multiple times to express my concerns of autism and behavior triggers and stims despite my sons communication barrier and delay but he didn’t want to hear them he kept asking what age did he do this or that. He would stop me every time I began to speak. This was the straw for me as I came in here with concerns daily concerns about my 3 yr old son the frustration he gets from not being able to communicate properly or fitting in and what we were seeing at home in public and at school. My son is extremely smart this I already knew but he didn’t answer nor cared about any of my concerns. Instead he said my child was very defiant and the issue was the way I was raising him at home. That I need to be strict and firm. I was in shock and wanted the hell out of that place. My son on the way out had a melt down started screaming and throwing things and Dr dail started screaming through the front office window, back at him yelling you stop it now boy, do you want me to come out there. This was the worse I mean the worse experience I’ve ever had with a physician never in the yr I’ve been trying to get my son the helps he needs have I ever experienced this. Was finally told he needed to see a behavioral pediatrician in order to get him the aba treatment he needs. What a waste of time. Please take your child else were if you really want answers.
We've had a very positive experience at UF Health Developmental Pediatrics. The therapists and experts and Dr. Dial have all gone out of their way to give our daughter and us the time and attention needed to address her needs. It is obvious to me that every member of this team deeply cares about children and wants the best for them, and I'm grateful.
