The info online says no appointment needed, however you do need an appointment. Update your info. I called and spoke to John. OMGoodness what a lovely person!! He made it personal by using my name and going the extra mile by giving me a lot of information. We need more people like him in this world. Although I was turned away because of my zip code I thank y’all for helping me with information. I’m saddened to be turned down for food - I didn’t see that coming. Blindsighted. I’m 65 on a fixed income and this is my 1st time trying a food bank. Please reconsider and don’t turn people away.
Came into a sudden, unexpected family crisis. Had no idea what I was going to do, searched around on Google and found a few places in Jacksonville - and UCom UrbanServ has been one of the absolute best. Incredibly sweet, helpful and generous. I got more help than I ever expected. And I am incredibly grateful. Very polite and gracious volunteers made what could have been an embarrassing moment, into a pleasant morning What an incredible organization.
So incredibly sweet and helpful. They really seem to care there. Have me lots of great food. Will be returning next month.
UCom Food Pantry Is By Far ,The Nicest Place in the Entire City,They Help Absolutely Everyone.I Came By About 4Months Ago, The Staff Is Definitely A True Blessing 🙏 From The Heavens.I Had Nothing in My Fridge and It Wasn't my Time to Come Back, Instead of Turning Me Away Until it was My Time, They Help Me with A Months Worth of Groceries and I Will Forever be Grateful to Them an All The People's Who Donate, This Staff an All The Volunteers Should be Awarded For Their Work 🙏😇💞💘💯👍😘💖🥰😍, I Am Leaving my Name It's Dwayne E. Allen
