Tree Hill Nature Center

Hands on learning experience for all ages wheelchair accessible. We had a blast!! Lots of walking. So wear your walking shoes?

This was such a fun place to explore and get some steps in! Staff at the check in desk were super helpful and had maps readily available. The turtles were so cute and we met the newest little guy, Neil during his feeding time! We ventured out by the goats and pigs as well and got lots of pets before walking the trails and looking for wildlife like owls, raccoons and heard lots of birds! Very nice place with lots of education on animals for all ages! They had paved trails and nature trails so we walked all of them! It was cheap and a great activity while on vacation in Jacksonville!

Really nice quaint park for families with children to explore and learn about nature and critters. Discounts available for first responders, teachers and military. Nice raised boardwalk, alligators, pigs, goats, chickens, turtles, snakes, a garden, walking trails, picnic areas, young kids are free! Great place for a couple of hours to get out in nature. Nice place to volunteer if you have a few hours.
