This is such a beautiful place, especially for pictures whether its prom, wedding or maternity. They will all turn out so elegant! There is very limited parking. If your staying close by it's better to walk. There are a few benches off to the left side of the entrance. There isn't a playground but the kids would have a wonderful time if they love to climb trees 😅
Phenomenal site, you have to see it in person to experience the beauty of it. This tree is massive. It's branches stretches hundreds of feet on the ground.
Decided to wander a bit around my hotel and came across this amazing tree. Incredible! Nestled right next to the highway and a parking garage, and completely empty. Check it out if you’re in the area.
Small park centered around a magnificent specimen of Souther live oak. Very reminiscent of the growth pattern of the Angel Oak in Charleston, SC, the the massive branches descending into and back out of the earth. Arguably more impressive than its Carolina cousin as the sheer number of massive central branches emanating from the main trunk appeared to measure in the double digits. We walked from the hotel across the street so not sure where visitors would park, I didn’t see a lot, but it’s definitely worth visiting if your a nature buff like me.
I was totally blown away by this tree. It is so amazing. How the gnarly, twisted branches drop to the ground only to curl back up, reaching for the sun. The tree's trunk is huge. I estimate that the tree is 450 years old, if not older.
