Touchton Park

This used to be one of my daughter’s favorite parks but it’s definitely in disrepair now. Tire swing gone, see saw gone, exercise equipment busted, and little free library gone. How sad.

Beautiful, mellow place to walk, get outside in the sunshine & bring the kids to the playground. It has a lovely little pond area with turtles & ducks. Which is why I gave it “4 🌟 “ since the city (or whomever) takes care of the parks REALLY needs to come out & chk on this one. The netting from the landscape around the water is starting to come thru the land & causing a hindrance to the wildlife. Lots of netting around tangled in sticks & littered with fishing lures & 🪝 really isn’t safe for many tbh. I’m concerned about aforementioned ducks & turtles tho 🐢☹️🦆

Great playground with some shade! Kids are impressed with the playground features. Nice little work out area and small pergola. Well-kept and tidy. My only complaint is that there are no bathrooms.

I recently visited the park designed for 2-5 yr olds, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! However, it's important to note that this park is surrounded by woods. While it adds a natural charm to the surroundings, it also means that parents and guardians should be extra vigilant. Keep a close eye on your kids at all times, especially when they wander close to the wooded areas. Safety should always be a priority, and being aware of the surroundings ensures a worry-free experience for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this park for families with young children. It provides a safe and engaging environment for kids to play, and the swinging area and workout equipment are fantastic additions. Just remember to stay vigilant and keep an eye out for your little ones, given the park's proximity to the woods.
