We recently went to Totus Tuus to update our will/trust. In the first consultation we learned that in addition to having our trust redone, we would also receive financial planning. TT informed us of other ways to assure us that our investments would last us until death. The entire process was very strategic and professional. Upon the many glories of 'The Golden Years' come some harsh realities. Mainly, how do we live out these years based upon what we have and not be a burden to our children? Where do we put our money? How do we secure some for ouselves, our children and grandchildren, have a few travel dollars, be able to handle taxes and inflation, and about 20 more things that had lived on a back burner til now. We knew we were in the right place the first time we met with Frank and his staff. They have spent their careers there (studying all the answers to the questions on our back burner). They KNOW how to navigate the roads we suddenly turned onto. They have truly taken us under their wings. They don't just advise, they show us the way, and let us choose from options they present. They make us feel like family and have been extremely helpful in our ability to live for today with the peace of being prepared for the inevitable. Like time has taught us, the worst plan is no plan. Poor Brad has been awfully patient with us and I'm sure he'll be that way with you too. Kudos to them all.
