My experience here over the past few months has been better than I could have imagined. Patrick is a very passionate, effective, and friendly teacher. He is very efficient with the time allotted in a lesson and no moment or question feels like time wasted. He is adaptive to your comprehension and experience no matter what. Patrick’s curriculum is also a step beyond what I’ve seen from any other teacher. I feel like what I’ve learned in the studio has unlocked a deep, fundamental understanding of guitar and music as a whole, and many complex or difficult concepts fall into place simply and quickly with the foundation you’ll receive learning from him. I can’t recommend Patrick enough as a teacher. He is kind, adaptive, encouraging, and has a deep love for music, from the most abstract and complex musical concepts from a diverse set of traditions to the wood and metal under your fingers. He is an endless source of enthusiasm and love for the art and the craft at hand, and an excellent teacher.
My son has been taking lessons w/ Patrick for over 2 years now. Pat is the kindest & most patient man who really gets to know the students & tailors lessons to how they learn and what they are interested in. He finds the spark in the students & keeps the fire lit! My son knows Pat cares about his progress & cares about him on a human level, which is so important for neurodivergent teens. He teaches not only the music basics, techniques, music theory, but also how the students can find themselves in their guitars. Pat’s fees are fair & he’s so flexible. I hope to see this studio full of skill levels & hear the music pouring out of the walls!!!
My 2 teenagers are taking guitar lessons from Patrick and he is great, they love the way he teaches. Couldn't ask for a better experience for my up and coming guitarists!
