As a woman who relies heavily on reviews when choosing where to do business, I feel it’s important to share my experience. I had been a loyal customer of this shop since 2019. While I am not mechanically inclined, I do understand the basics and have always trusted them with my vehicle. I had an 8:30 a.m. appointment for tie rod ends, based on an estimate I had received from this same shop just one week earlier during an oil change. The estimate for that work was approximately $800. I arrived around 8:00 a.m. to drop off my vehicle, but the staff seemed unsure why I was there and told me they would reevaluate what needed to be done. Around 9:00 a.m., I received a call stating that my radiator was cracked and had a “steady stream” of fluid coming from it. I was told the radiator needed to take priority over the tie rods. Because this was unexpected, I declined the repair and told them I was coming to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, I noticed there was no visible fluid underneath my vehicle on the pavement. I opened the hood and found that my coolant reservoir was completely empty. At that point, I contacted my own mechanic to arrange for the vehicle to be towed for a second opinion. The shop initially quoted approximately $1,400 for the radiator replacement. After discussing the pricing with the manager, the estimate was brought down to around $1,200. Once my vehicle was taken to my mechanic, he thoroughly inspected it, including performing a pressure test. There was nothing wrong with my radiator. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially after being a loyal customer for approximately seven years. I went in prepared to spend around $800 on work I had already been quoted, and I left feeling as though I was being pressured into nearly $2,000 worth of repairs—including a radiator replacement that a second professional inspection determined was not necessary. As a woman walking into an automotive shop, this is exactly the type of experience that makes you question whether you are being treated fairly or being taken advantage of because you may not have extensive mechanical knowledge. They were going to receive $800 from a loyal customer. Instead, they tried to turn that into nearly $2,000, and as a result, they have lost my business entirely. After seven years of loyalty, I will not be returning.

Professional and kind. Reasonable pricing and they will always discount with a coupon. They will show you any malfunctioning parts and provide recommendations and provide quotes. I get all my tires brakes and oil changes here. Highly recommend

I have been using Tire Outlet in Yulee for about 6 years for my car maintenance and tire needs. I keep returning as I have found that the employees and management are customer focused and do not try to "upsell" or pressure me into unnecessary services. They have also numerous times gone out of their way to suggest coupons or other cost savings alternatives. I recently had a 100,000 mile routine maintence servicing done at Tire Outlet on my vehicle for 1/4th of the price the Honda dealer had quoted me. I highly recommend Tire Outlet in Yulee if you value high quality service at a reasonable price.
