Thriving Minds ADHD Center

From my initial visit, my psychiatrist Kali Thurman was extremely attentive, thorough, and compassionate. She took the time to listen carefully, explained my treatment plan in detail, and made sure all of my questions were answered. She is always responsive and makes time for me when I need support. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in how I’m feeling, and I truly appreciate her dedication and professionalism. I highly recommend her.

I scheduled a telehealth appointment with Kali. The initial consultation lasted an hour and Kali was excellent at listening & asking questions about my adult ADHD. She was encouraging and even mentioned that a current medication could be the cause of my heart palpitations, not the ADHD meds I have tried on the past. Despite the fact that she was 30 min late for our call, I was still very pleased. Perhaps the delay was due to her needing to spend extra time with another client. She is very personable & empathetic. Her office is hard to reach at times, but usually responds to text fairly quickly. I am looking forward to establishing a long patient/provider relationship with Thriving Minds.

Very smooth process. Kali Thurman is absolutely amazing and by far the best psychiatrist I’ve had, and I’ve been through a GOOD few. Kali listened to my concerns and took my word for it. I felt very seen while speaking with Kali. I would recommend Kali to anyone who is well versed in their own lived experiences and manifestations of neurodivergence and has yet to find a doctor who is “on their level.”

I have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Thurman for a few years now. She’s wonderful, I can’t say enough positive things. She is incredibly educated and stays up to date with the current literature on ADHD. She has taught me an invaluable amount about my diagnosis and the healthy management of it. Most importantly to me, she believes me and trusts me when I self-report the effects of the medications. I don’t have to fight for what I believe is best for me, I am supported (while monitored safely of course) in my decisions on what’s best. Over the years, Dr. Thurman has advocated for me to my insurance as necessary and has always been helpful in any frustrations that come along with insurance and pharmacy complications. If you are serious about managing your ADHD and truly finding what works best for you, Dr. Thurman is an awesome choice. 10/10 would recommend.
