The Thrasher-Horne Center is an absolute gem in Orange Park! The venue is clean, spacious, and well organized, with excellent sightlines and sound quality that make every event feel special. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish, which really enhances the overall experience. Parking is convenient, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. Whether you’re attending a concert, show, or special event, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend checking it out!

Our dance studio recently attended a four-day competition at this theater. The facility itself is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing due to how the event was managed. Our children spend extremely long days at these competitions—often 10+ hours. While I understand the importance of keeping the facility clean, families need to be able to provide food and drinks during events of this length. Theater staff repeatedly stopped us from bringing in any outside food or beverages, which created unnecessary challenges for both dancers and parents. There were also basic operational issues that should not happen during a large, multi-day event. By midday on Saturday, the bathrooms had run out of toilet paper and paper towels and were not restocked. Even more concerning, the bathrooms were locked an hour before the event ended. Additionally, the competition relies on an app to keep participants informed of performance schedules and updates. A staff member informed me that the theater WiFi was intentionally turned off, and inside the building, cellular service was essentially nonexistent. This made it extremely difficult to access critical event information. As a parent of a competitive dancer, it’s incredibly frustrating to attend an event where athletes and their families are treated with such a lack of consideration. The production company pays to use the facility, and those costs are ultimately covered by the participating families. We should be treated as valued customers—not as inconveniences.

The Thrasher-Horne Center is an excellent venue with a great atmosphere for live performances and events. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, with comfortable seating and good views from just about every section. The sound quality is impressive, making concerts and shows even more enjoyable. Staff members are friendly, organized, and helpful, which makes the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Parking is convenient, and getting in and out is hassle-free. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to catch a show, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality entertainment in the area.

✨️ My FAVORITE venue, hands down! I have experienced this venue from country music concerts to dance competitions, front of house to backstage. I can't say enough good things about this place I lovingly call My Other Home. I love it so much I've even applied to volunteer! I want to be a part of this special.place as long as we live here. Thank you for the hard work and dedication I witness time and time again, Thrasher. I know this place is special to many of the staff and volunteers I have spoken with so far. It feels like a family. We will be there again in a few weeks. Can't wait!
