I had a great experience with Dr. Austgen. He seemed genuinely happy to take care of me. He is kind, personable, and made me feel like I was in great hands. Everytime I saw him he had a bright smile on his face. I was extra impressed when he transported me from radiology back to preop. I work in a hospital myself and I have never seen a physician transport a patient anywhere! My surgery and recovery went better than I could have expected. It was bittersweet being discharged from his practice because it was truly always a pleasure to see him.
I was pleasantly surprised about the entire process from beginning to end of my surgery. Also amazed at the lack of pain experienced. A few hours after surgery, I took one Naproxen and that’s all I needed. And did not take it because I was in pain, but to be sure to stay ahead of the pain curve, which apparently didn’t exist. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Austgen to anybody.
The staff and Dr. Austgen were awesome! The scheduling was easy. Dr. Austgen answered all my questions. I felt very reassured after my appointment. He definitely put my mind at ease and ordered tests to be absolutely certain.
Great hospital and staff. Can say enough about Dr. Austgen’s professionalism and experience. Simple procedure that saved my life.
Dr austgen is a take care of business type of man he tells it like it is and i like him for that excellent surgeon
