BEWARE!!!! RATS in bed, LEAKING windows, possible MOLD, no adequate heat in home, and DIRTY at move-in!!!! Videos attached for your viewing and verifying pleasure. For over a month, I have been fighting to get adequate pest control in my home. After weeks of the issue being unresolved and me moving out temporarily because there were literal rodents in my bed every night, they told me that the situation was NOT unlivable and I choose to leave, I did not have to leave, so they would not be giving me any reduction in rent for the TWO WEEKS that I did not stay there (and had nowhere else to sleep in my home). Make it make sense. When I moved in, the window was leaking, and it took several weeks and 3 vendors to finally get fixed. The paint started turning black and concerned me that it might be mold, but each vendor just kept painting over it… And it continued to turn black and bubbling. There was also no heat in my home, so they finally installed two wall units for an entire home. Each wall unit heats about 5 feet in front of it for 1,000 square-foot home… So that was never adequately fixed. I also have a 2-bedroom home and they never installed a heater in the 2nd bedroom. Finally, the home was not cleaned before move-in... and yet they said that they still will keep their $200 to clean it when I move out. Doesn’t make any sense since I had to clean it when I moved in. BEWARE!!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update to their response - per usual, they do not review any pictures/videos you send. As you can tell from the videos, it was not clean when I moved in. It took 3 vendors to take care of the leaking window. And also another 3 vendors to take care of the rodents, which they did not handle-I took care of it myself to finally solve rodents in my bed.
I've only been with Thirdstone Properties for a short while. The few times I've gone into the office thus far have been fine. The staff is awesome. Aside from still patiently waiting from the second week in February until now for an Air Conditioner to be put in my place everything has been great. I have no complaints. The place is perfect for me and I love it.
I recently scheduled a showing for one of my clients at a Thirdstone Properties rental, and the experience was extremely frustrating. We were provided a lockbox code about 24 hours in advance, but when we arrived for the showing, the code did not work on either lockbox. I attempted to call multiple times and was initially connected to an AI system that was not helpful in resolving the issue. After about 10 minutes, someone did reach out and provided a different code for one of the lockboxes, but it still would not open. At that point, I was told there wasn’t anything else they could do, and we were never given a working solution or access to the property. This was very disappointing, especially since my client was genuinely interested in the home and had taken time out of their day to view it. Additionally, after reading through other reviews, it’s concerning to see a pattern where negative feedback is dismissed or blamed on the customer rather than addressed. That kind of response comes across as unprofessional and does not build trust. Overall, this experience reflected a lack of preparation, communication, and accountability. I hope they take steps to improve their systems and customer service moving forward.
Thirdstone properties is the bomb I love everyone that works their. I would rent from them over and over again. Now if my house endeavors follow through. I will not stay in this landlord house.Any longer past my lease and it has nothing to do with Thirdstone. I tell everyone stay away from JWB and go to Thirdstone to be treated right!! It has been my personal experience that they go over and beyond to fix an issue. So don't believe the reports that say they don't fix things its a lie!! I take got pride in given Thirdstone my rent just because of the way I am treated which is fair. That's all anyone could ask for however, at times they are more than fair. Just for the record I have never rented from JWB I saw how they treated my friends and family.. Run 🏃don't walk too thirdstone!! God Bless!! Pamela
This is the worst place to rent from the ladie in the office is very rude and dont know how to talk very unprofessional this is my last year with this company. They want you to pay for inspection thats $100 a year they want me to take pictures of everything that is wrong. My job is to report issues i do that im not getting paid to send pictures. So therefore I won't be doing that. I have been in this house for over ten years I hate the company . If you have property dont use them. Mitchell & Williams is a much better company.
