The Urban Bean Coffeehouse I’ve been journaling here every time I’m in town since 2015. Sarnelli's was dark and had a water fountain urban beings light bright amazing barista‘s impeccable food, large sizes and so many books you’re attempted to steal one. As a souvenir of course. We were treated so well by the one and only Kiyah. She is great and helped up choose each day we were in town what to eat. Yo, These grits bowls are off the charts as they can be combined with bacon and sausage at the same exact time being from LA. We don’t have things like grits, but I grew up here and remember when this was an Italian restaurant named Sarnelli‘s now it’s an Urban Bean Coffeehouse Era. I will always make it a point to frequent this coffee shop as it’s special and the people are kind and the food is really well made. Fast internet : extensive menu and a lot of kind people here : live music is a great addition, as is a healthy selection of food that changes. It was so nice to finally meet one of the owners, Melissa. She said that after Sarnelli’s Italian Restaurant closed this building set empty for several years. They took it over imagined and made it amazing and I’m so grateful they did. Thank you for making this such a great space for the community to come together. Orange Park deserves it and has always needed it. Good job Urban Bean! Thank you for having us and love from Los Angeles! We will be back!
We got here 30 minutes before closing on the 4th of July and enjoyed some coffee and desserts. Very delicious.
Zero stars. I ordered the chicken signature salad for $15 and it was ridiculous — the container was barely half full with maybe 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Completely overpriced and poorly made. I called and spoke with the owner’s son. While he did offer a refund, it came after multiple excuses about why the salad “wasn’t made right.” I brought the salad back and asked to speak with him in person, and conveniently he had “just stepped out.” Very disappointing experience, poor value for the money, and unprofessional handling of the situation. I won’t be back
I literally just walked in there, spent 15 minutes on line to get a cinnamon roll, because their cinnamon rolls are fantastic. As I get up and said I would like that cinnamon roll, another woman walked up and said there are no more left while literally taking the one that I had just ordered out from in front of me. The food here is fantastic, the service generally pretty good. They had plenty of people behind the counter they could have opened up another register, to make the line go faster. They could have not taken the cinnamon roll that I had just ordered out from in front of me, and told me they were none. But they didn't do those things. This was not a good customer experience. Please do better.
Cute and friendly coffee shop. Donuts and pastries are amazing. Turmeric ginger latte was unique. I’ll have to return to try the coffee options and more treats! Edit: Returned for coffee, bagel sandwich, and donuts. All were really good! Snickerdoodle iced latte and Asiago bagel especially great.
