We lived at The Strand for approximately one year, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. During our time there, we celebrated one of the biggest milestones of our lives—welcoming our twins—and they spent their first 10 months at The Strand. Like any community, we experienced a few challenges that affected many residents and were not specific to our apartment. While such situations can happen anywhere, what truly stood out was the professionalism and dedication of the leasing management team in addressing each issue. I would especially like to recognize Sarah and Jenny for their outstanding efforts. They consistently worked to provide both immediate and long-term solutions, remained calm and professional even during difficult situations, and continued supporting residents with genuine care and commitment. Their willingness to go above and beyond, always striving to help to the best of their abilities, is truly commendable. Their exceptional customer service and resident-first approach made a meaningful difference to our overall experience at The Strand.
I would like to recognize the morning Concierge, Chavonne, at the Strand Apartments for consistent professional and courteous assistance with residents, fellow employees and service providers, precious dogs, too!! Her demeanor is kind and gentle - she listens and ensures all questions are thoroughly and promptly answered, even helps with IPhone as needed! Chavonne is always a delight to speak with… her first impression leaves you with a lasting impression … leading with a smile.
I had an absolutely amazing experience with Chavonne, the concierge. From the moment we spoke, she was extremely professional, welcoming, and attentive. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I understood everything clearly, which I truly appreciated. What really stood out was how Chavonne went above and beyond to be helpful. She didn’t just do the basics—she made sure I felt comfortable, informed, and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. Her positive attitude, patience, and dedication to excellent customer service made a lasting impression. Chavonne is a true asset, and her professionalism and kindness made my experience exceptional. Tiona is great ! She took the time to show us options, and helped us to make the move smooth. The location is perfect with the access to San Marco, downtown or Riverside. The Riverwalk is perfect to exercise, watch the river or just look at the city skyline .
We lived at the Strand in downtown Jacksonville for 6 months while looking for our new home here. We found it online and bought it based on the location and views, proximity to work, and amenities. And we loved our experience here! Everyone on the staff are competent, friendly, and professional. The concierge staff often knew your name and always had a friendly greeting for you. Even Sharon Norfleet learned the names of our dogs and greeting them when we walked by! She was the first staff member we met when we finished our cross country drive and needed keys and information late at night. She was so welcoming and helpful. It is fitting she is the person we return our keys to after moving out. We loved the multiple events that the Concierge team threw - making candles, yoga by the pool, and holiday meal, Christmas trees and wrapped presents by the lobby. Shout out to Denitra and Chavonne too. Sarah from the leasing office was so accommodating and always had her door open to the residents. Martin as the head of maintenance was also great to work with - responsive and friendly. My dryer was making a weird sound and after confirming something was wrong, they installed a new one the next day. You may choose to live here for various reasons but the wonderful people here will keep you happy here.
