The Riverhouse (St. Vincent's Spirituality Center & Mike Davidson Overnight Center)

The Riverhouse was a God send! The house is directly across from the Emergency Room side of the hospital with a parking garage right next door. Very convenient! My brother had a triple bypass heart surgery and we couldn't have asked for a better location. We could walk to the floor he was on, and be there in a matter of minutes. The house has a common kitchen/dining and living room area. The kitchen was set up with a coffee maker and ice water/ice machine (crushed ice!). Also complete with a refrigerator if you should need to bring your own food. The room was spacious with two double beds, a TV and a nice bathroom. The beds were comfortable enough and my husband loved the pillows! AND, the price was very reasonable. We didn't discover it until the last day we were there, but there is a beautiful view of the river from the back of the property. There was some construction going on and the vehicles had blocked the view. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs accommodations close to St. Vincent's Hospital.

This time last year I stayed at the Riverhouse for 7 weeks. And I have nothing but awesome reviews to a 5 star host and housekeeper they made me feel like I was at home. The place was always in immaculate shape. I highly recommend it any and everybody if your in need of a place to stay while loved ones or even yourself is going through treatment at the hospital or cancer center. They are awesome... words can't truly express my gratitude. Thank you both so much..

4 of us stayed here for 3 nights while my Mother was in ICU at St Vincent's Riverside. Yes the room was reasonable but...there were 4 adults and housekeeping REFUSED to leave us more than 3 towels. The 3rd night we were left only 3 towels again after we had asked again for 4 towels, plus we were left 0 washcloths. It is bad enough to sit in ICU worrying about your family member, but then cant even take a hot shower, bathe, and dry off. The key card would not unlock the front door, each night we had to get someone inside to open it or call the hospital to send someone to let us in.

This is a wonderful service for overnight stays. The room was comfortable, clean and convenient and fairly priced. There is a wonderful view, a sitting room, a refrigerator room with tables, snack and soda machine. Shawna was wonderful with our check in. Every hospital should have this service. Thanks for making this experience easier for us.
