The community as a whole is great , but the HOA is a different story. They do things without taking a vote from homeowners, now they are spending money on stop signs that are not needed, but we need more lighting on Main road, we need a yellow line down the road, it's way too dark and people can't see the middle of the road, the speed bumps, useless specially when an ambulance is coming in to help or going out with a patient. They need to get to the ER faster, but have to slow down because the bumps and last but not least, I see kids waiting for the school buses sitting on the grass or streets. If it rains you know what happens, Cold weather is hard on them. Why not spend a little and make shelters for bus stop, where a bunch of kids have to wait with benches built-in, instead of wasting money on stop signs and speed bumps.
So I was delivering a customers grocery order to the ravines and I have to go to the guard to be let in as a visitor. The older woman asks where I’m going and what company I’m delivering to and I answer, then she asks for my name and I give it and she says I’m not on the visitors log and I said I know I’m just delivering. She then starts chuckling and rolling her eyes and tells me the name of the person you are delivering too and I tell her and she says when I ask for your name you need to give me the person your delivering too and just starts smirking. So I told her you asked for my name and when I usually deliver here the other guards ask for my name personally and the person I’m delivering too. She then starts being a smart ass and says you just need to give someone else’s name when I ask for yours and then when we get passed all that to be let in she then goes and says see there it goes all cocky like and then when I was driving away she starts to say stuff about me but I was already over on my time to deliver to confront her on why she was being so rude to me. The community is nice but the security officers have attitudes and are usually rude when I have to deliver there.
The HOA here are basically dictators. God forbid you live next to one person that’s on the board. They’ll report you for everything. If the housing market would better, I’d leave immediately
Was a great place to live. Nice people and no crime. Now buyer beware! Individual residents have installed security cameras and are only monitored by those individuals. Sounds ok, right. Those individuals will run out of the condos and betrait and interigate anyone that dares to walk their dog, go to the dumpster, or even go to the mailbox. Everyone is guilty of a crime. HOA board states that it is fine and even recommends more individuals install cameras on the property. Unless you like being berated, accused, harassed, and other wise assaulted steer clear of these condos.
A nice place to live. My downstairs and next door neighbors were so nice and helpful. Shout out to Dave! I would move back here in an instant.
