Charlie always has been focused on me when we meet/speak. He is very accommodating, patient, understanding & through. I've been seeing him for about 10 years. The growth in myself through therapy with Charles and the ketamine infusions treatments have been amazing!! I would highly recommend him, or any other practitioner from The Practice.
Excellent care here, they can really help you. Imagine being treated by a talented, compassionate provider who really works to get it right while making you feel comfortable. Charles Maddix is exceptional. He works with children also so parent's, this gentleman is who you want to bring your child to. He will help your family, you will like him because he will listen, has a gift for this, and he cares. The waiting room is sensory friendly, has a lovely sounding waterfall installation, low light conditions and never crowded. Fenced, off-street parking available. They will be offering primary care soon also, you can even get your blood drawn here for testing instead of going to Quest or LabCorp. Imagine not having to schedule time off work to get labs done, not having to sit in cramped waiting corrals for 2-3hrs waiting for the overworked technician to see you. If you have been thinking about seeing someone, this is probably the best choice you could make for yourself or your loved one. This is where you should choose. Try it, I bet you won’t be disappointed.
Wouldn't go anywhere else. Charles Maddix does a great job at making you feel comfortable. He has helped me find the medications that help me function. I look forward to seeing the staff at the practice. Haven't a complaint yet. Makes you feel like apart of the team but very professional. 10/10 rec
Charles Maddix is definitely the best psychiatrist I've ever had. My case is complex and he takes the time to listen to me. He thinks outside the box and is willing to find solutions that other psychs might not consider. I couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is especially knowledgeable about ADHD and the role of hormones in mental illness and offers alternative treatments like ketamine infusions. My only complaint is that communication with the office between appointments is often difficult. They often don't answer the phones or return voicemails or portal messages. They have said that they are working on these issues and are hiring additional staff- I look forward to seeing positive changes in their communication practices, because I really love this practice, all of their staff, and how Charles Maddix practices medicine.
Dr. Maddix is an amazing psychiatrist—truly caring, thorough, and attentive. He goes above and beyond to listen and find the best treatment options. I’ve felt genuinely supported, and it’s made a huge difference in my care.
