Our family frequently eats at the loop and we love to get take out orders for a quick dinner at home. The reason for my review, however, is for the catering. Today was the second event that the loop catered for our local school staff. Joey & Greg made the planning process smooth and easy. The food was delivered to us, packaged well, and easy for us to set up. The serving sizes were generous and everyone said it was delicious. We definitely will place more catering orders in the future!
When we walked in there were two tables already eating and one person waiting for a carryout order that was given to her in about 5 min. We went straight to the counter and ordered a chicken wrap and a chicken sandwich, both with fries. We were given the buzzer to notify us when our order was ready, got our drinks and sat down. Twenty five minutes later I was about to get up and ask for a refund when the buzzer finally went off. There were several other families that came in just after us that and were also waiting for their food. We noticed several carryout or delivery orders going out the door. They seemed more important to the staff than the people waiting in person. The kitchen had lots of people working so it wasn't a staffing issue. It is hard to believe it takes 25 minutes to deep fry a chicken breast for a sandwich, cook some fries and put some cold ingredients into a wrap. This isn't a sit down place where waiting is expected. At least the food was good in the end but not worth the long wait.
Just wanted a basic milkshake; got double the amount. Mixed Chocolate & Oreo together to create an authentic tasting blend that doesn’t taste straight from Mickey Ds. Get you a fresh and easy milkshake for $5.99 and get all your moneys worth.
I recently visited The Loop and wanted to share my experience. Rather than a traditional burger, I ordered the Portobello Mushroom Swiss Melt, and it was exceptional. The portobello caps were prepared with a deep, meaty umami that provided a robust foundation, complemented perfectly by generous layers of high-quality, melted Swiss cheese. The thick, toasted bread maintained its crunch and structural integrity throughout the meal. To accompany the sandwich, I had a classic vanilla milkshake. It was hand-spun, thick, and rich with authentic flavor, serving as a refreshing counterbalance to the hearty melt. The Loop consistently demonstrates that casual dining can maintain high standards of quality and atmosphere. I highly recommend this pairing to anyone seeking expertly prepared comfort food.
My family and I have been coming here for years. The staff is always accommodating to our large group of kiddos. The resturante is always clean, pretty quick on food after order. Posting my review today because we had some slight confusion on our order and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Nothing better than great friendly customer service, thanks guys!
