I recently dined at The Juicy Crab and unfortunately had a pretty underwhelming experience. I ordered the clams, and they were completely tasteless. They were clearly overboiled, which made them rubbery and bland. My date ordered crab, and it was also overboiled and lacked flavor. The service was not very attentive, and the overall experience felt rushed. On top of that, the decor felt dated and didn’t add much to the atmosphere. Overall, it just didn’t live up to expectations, especially for a seafood spot where freshness and proper cooking really matter.
One of the best (maybe the best) seafood boil I've ever had. I had the Low Country Boil (1/2 pound each of crab legs, shrimp, and sausage, plus corn on the cob and 2 potatoes), prepared in Juicy sauce and mild. I was not sure lemon pepper, Cajun and garlic butter flavor all mixes would be good, but I gave it a shot. Unbelievable! Can't wait to go back!
We were here this past Sunday with my elderly father and my nieces visiting from New York. The food was excellent. But what was more amazing was the service from our server Jessica. She was SUPERB! She treated my father as if he were her own family, and catered to us like we were royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you go ask for Jessica for your server.
Absolutely amazing experience at Juicy Crab in Jacksonville! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The seafood seasoning had the perfect kick, and the portions were generous. What really made the visit stand out was the customer service, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was clean, fun, and perfect for a seafood night out. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!
Its 9:37 pm! I am currently sitting in juicy crab after driving 45 mins to get here and was told I can only order to-go. The website does not detail that they do not sit customers after 9:30 pm. If they did I wouldnt have come. Who wants to drive 45 mins back home just to eat cold food. Not to mention the manager "Marip" was extremely rude and did not want to listen to any questions I asked. I explained to him that I had just driven this far to try their food and he only said that he and his servers were ready to go home so we would have to order to-go. This establishment does not close until 10 pm. I would have gladly eaten my oysters and exited the establishment expeditiously. I DO NOT Recommend this restaurant. We (the consumers) have to stop giving our money to these establishments that only want our money when they want it and not even during their prescribed business hours.
