What an incredible dining experience at The French Pantry! We came with a group of nine, and every single person left impressed. The service was outstanding, our food came out perfectly, and the staff handled our large party with ease. We started with a fantastic selection of appetizers: the Cajun Bruschetta, S Cargo, Bang Bang Shrimp, and the house bread with olive oil. Every appetizer was packed with flavor and set the tone for an amazing meal. For our entrées, we had three duck dishes, three market fresh tilefish specials, the lamb, and a burger. Every plate was beautifully prepared, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. It is rare for a table of nine to have everyone rave about their meal, but that is exactly what happened. To finish, we shared the German chocolate cake and the lemon pound cake, and both desserts were the perfect ending to an already outstanding dinner. From start to finish, everything was magnificent. The quality of the food, the attention to detail, and the exceptional service made this one of the best dining experiences we have had in St. Augustine. We cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend!
I would definitely make sure that you make reservations before coming here. I saw them turning down tons of people or told them they was gonna be two hour wait over all the food was OK nothing special but we didn’t get a big dinner. We just got a snack and dessert. I’d come back one more time to try the dinner items. The carrot cake was amazing. The drinks were delicious in the atmosphere was wonderful. Definitely a great place for a date night.
I just had the best experience at the French Pantry! We had the nicest server, Sophia, who gave us great service and always checked on us. Service was fast! We got Kobe burgers and bang bang shrimp po boys and both were the best we’d ever had! Friends said that they bought pastries at the quick service counter and that the pastries are made fresh in the Jacksonville location. The dip for the bread is so good the server said the spice blend is made in house and has 11 spices—it’s really bright tasting. Overall great experience!
The atmosphere is high end and sophisticated, but we still felt welcomed with our toddler. The food was phenomenal and Colin was an amazing server. She was great with our toddler and made sure we were well taken care of. Best coffee, French toast, pastries, and eggs Benedict we've ever had.
Had such a lovely Mother’s Day brunch at The French Pantry 🤍 The place was completely packed, but a special thanks to Justin, the manager, who went above and beyond to help us get seated even though we forgot to make reservations. His kindness and hospitality truly made our day extra special. We enjoyed a delicious latte, turkey sandwich, and the portobello bruschetta — everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth the visit. The cozy atmosphere, amazing food, and warm service made this brunch so memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect brunch spot in St. Augustine!
