The Cuban Café And Bakery

We had the Cuban sandwich and it did not taste authentic. It was basic lunch meat and they barely melted the cheese so the sandwich was not warm in the center. They only put a squirt of mustard. I had to add extra bc it didn’t have any flavor. One positive the bread was good. But $14 per sandwich from a place that say it’s authentic I was expecting better. Just ok. I had a better Cuban sandwich at a smoothie shop close to the alligator farm called Creative Juices.

This establishment is truly wonderful; I thoroughly enjoyed both the Cuban sandwich and the cheese croquette. They were delicious, and the staff exhibited exceptional friendliness.

I was going to try a bagel spot nearby but it ended up being sold out and I stumbled upon this gem! I ordered a croqueta sandwich and a caramel iced latte and everything was amazing! The items are made to order so everything is fresh. The cashier and other employees were all very kind and the location was clean. It was nice to find a Cuban hole in the wall in the midst of St. Augustine with Spanish speakers and fresh Cuban pastries. I would gladly return here.

Authentic Cuban food in the heart of St. Augustine. They have a range of sandwiches and empanadas. I had a pressed sandwich with the Cuban bread that was great! Great service from the staff as well!
