The Coast at Ponte Vedra Lakes Apartments

Went to move in on 6/28 and was greeted with a broken window, glass shattered on the inside of what was supposed to be our new home, and stolen items. The coast was lovely enough to board it up a good few hours later, give spotty unclear communication the next week and a half, and then tell us the window was broken from the inside (implying it couldn’t have been a break-in.) I could not attach the video we took of the unit when we walked in, but have blurry screenshots from the video showing the glass all over the floor and broken window that was apparently broken from the inside according to the Coast! Move in at your own risk.

I was supposed to move in here a week ago and the place was broken into by the window being smashed and all the stuff that had been moved in was stolen. The coast administration, especially Stasha and Thalia, have been extremely unhelpful and rude throughout this process of trying to get our money refunded. It has been extremely difficult to get a written confirmation of the money refunded or able to speak with them on the phone. Someone will actually send me an email with the wrong info and then I will call back a minute later and they say that person is not available and then that person emails me back a minute later. I was called rude by Stasha and hung up on her, which is crazy as her position is to provide customer service and accurate, timely responses. As an administrative customer facing position, you should probably be able to pick up the phone and reply in a timely polite manner. The Coast is owned by RPM living (a national corporation) and still doesn’t want to help make this situation right. Administration is rude and unhelpful and the place is unsafe. 0/0 recommend.

Was so excited to move here and be closer to work but ended up having nothing but horrible experience after experience. This is not a safe neighborhood and I don’t want what happened to me to happen to others! Make sure you have a ring camera and even in house cameras since the neighborhood isn’t protected at all. I was stalked and then someone proceeded to smash my window and steal everything inside. Management did a very mediocre job and just added to the already extremely stressful and traumatic experience. Called the 24/7 maintenance # to let them know about window wide open into my home and he responded that he was on lunch and didn’t come for 3 hours. Do not recommend. Much better community complexes nearby that are protected and lower rates.
