⚠️DO NOT MOVE HERE — MOLD, WATER DAMAGE & ROACHES I strongly recommend DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have dealt with repeated mold, water leaks, and roaches. My experience with management has been extremely frustrating. When I first moved in, I had black mold treated in my apartment. They had to come back because it was not treated properly the first time. I have also found mold in the vents. Recently, my guest bathroom ceiling started sagging because of a leak, and there was visible mold on it. I also reported water leaking through my dining room light fixture, which is a serious safety concern. After I finally reached the property manager, Londyn Glover, my apartment was inspected. I was told they did not see signs of a leak or a sagging ceiling. After I sent more videos and said I would leave reviews about my experience, someone was sent to check the ceiling. They cut open the ceiling and found visible dark/black mold inside the ceiling and wall. This week, the situation became even more concerning. I was sick and stayed home when maintenance came by. The area they had cut open was about to be covered with drywall without being treated for mold first. I had to specifically ask maintenance to go get the mold treatment spray instead of simply covering the area back up. Had I not been home sick that day, who knows whether the mold would have been treated at all before the ceiling was closed back up. There are still concerns about possible mold in the HVAC/vent system and water leaking through the dining room light fixture. I asked to be released from my lease because of these ongoing problems and how they have affected my health, but my request has not been approved. I have now been waiting three days for a response from the property manager. My health has clearly been affected. I have woken up several times in the middle of the night with full-body itchiness and hives, and I have experienced breathing difficulties. If management truly cared, they would have responded by now or taken my request to leave this lease seriously. I am sure they would not want to live here while experiencing these problems themselves. I already expect a generic response saying they are sorry about my experience and appreciate my feedback, but that does not match my experience. Their lack of communication and failure to resolve these issues have made me feel that they do not care. This is not only a mold issue. I have also had repeated roach problems even after several treatments. I am leaving this review because I wish I had known about these problems before signing my lease. I do not want anyone else to feel stuck in a lease while dealing with these issues. ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU MOVE HERE. Ask about past water damage, mold, HVAC inspections, pest problems, and how they handle mold treatment. MOLD. WATER LEAKS. ROACHES. POOR COMMUNICATION. 🚨 DO NOT MOVE HERE. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. 🚨
Absolutely no do not move here. They've replaced all the door lock and thermostats with a "smart" system. The email letting us know that we would be having this installed tomorrow was sent at 4:53 PM on August 10th, while the front office closes at 5. I assume they did this to avoid having to answer any questions, and the install people for the system were out the next day. We were informed it would also be a $50 fee if we rescheduled the installation of the new system. Our air conditioning has been off all day due to the "smart" thermostat failing, there is no one in the office due to "staffing issues" and the "emergency maintenance line" is the front office phone. If the front office phone is answered at all, it's a "virtual assistant". When I texted the office line that used to be handled by a person I got another AI textbot that informed me "The team is aware of the issue and will follow up as soon as there is an update." but again, there is no one in the office and no maintenance people on the property, so I'm not sure what "update" there could possibly be. They also changed the physical lock when they added the smart system, which made my physical key useless, and they are not issuing any actual physical keys. Within the first two weeks my front door refused to accept my code and I had to go to the office and wait for an available person to open her email and reset my front door code. So, should the lock system fail outside of office hours, you will just be locked out of your apartment until one of their chatbots either figures out how to reset the front door or manages to contact one of their few remaining employees to do so. This system again has been in use for just about one month and both the door and thermostat have both failed, so Id put good money on it being a recurring issue. Outside of the current smart system issue, getting maintenance out to a call is also a total crapshoot. We had a wasp nest built on our bedroom window and had to put in 2 separate requests before it was actually removed. The first "response" from maintenance was just an email saying someone had been by, but I had been there all day and absolutely no one had come by the apartment. Our upstairs neighbors also dropped a 40 gallon aquarium in their living room a few years back, and you can still see the massive water stain on my ceiling. That's not been fixed, and I know when those guys moved they just put in new carpet, nothing was taken apart and checked for water damage. Lord only knows how much mold and water damage is just now in that flooring. Overall, avoid this place like the plague.
I got very sick living here. There is mold, roaches everywhere, appliances leaking. I was getting migraines, hives, itchy nose, itchy eyes, weight gain, fatigue, depression, and anxiety. They won’t let you leave if you get health problems, they will charge you up the ass for anything. They don’t care about you. Get representation if you deal with these or honestly steer clear. The worst place I’ve ever lived and I regret living there. Please don’t substitute yourself to this and listen to these reviews, we are trying to warn you. It’s not worth it even if it’s “cheap”
I have been dealing with an ongoing roach issue in my unit since OCTOBER when I moved in, and it has still not been resolved. Pest control has been sent multiple times, including very frequent treatments, but the problem continues to come back. I am still seeing both large roaches and baby roaches, which clearly shows the issue is ongoing. I formally reported this months ago and specifically asked for a real solution, including inspection of surrounding units, not just repeated spraying. While the office acknowledged the issue, there was never a clear plan or follow-up explaining how it would actually be resolved. On April 21, I was approved for a transfer and told the fee would be waived. I responded the same day with basic questions about rent, lease terms, and next steps, and never received a response. I was later told my case was being handed to a manager, but I still did not receive any communication from her. At one point, pest control entered my unit with no notice at all and my door was left UNLOCKED when I returned home. That alone was extremely concerning. As of now, inspections were scheduled across the property, but I still have not received a response about my situation, despite multiple emails and follow-ups. Meanwhile, I am continuing to see roaches in my apartment. When I finally spoke to the office in person, I was told that transferring would require a rent increase and signing a completely new lease, which is not reasonable considering this transfer is only needed due to an unresolved issue in my current unit. At this point, the issue has been ongoing for months, has not been resolved despite repeated efforts, and communication from management has been extremely inconsistent. I have documented everything and escalated this further because this situation has not been handled properly.
Honestly, I’ve been reading the reviews but my experience has been nothing but good while living here. Ive lived here for the last 3 years and this place has had incredible improvement. For being as close as we are to the town center and within walking distance to many stores, the price is not bad compared to all the surrounding apartments I’ve looked at. You get 700 more sqft with the same price as the nearby apartments… Within just the time I’ve been here so much has changed in good ways. They’ve added pickleball courts, a new kitchen area by the pool with computers and printers and upon request, they upgraded the gym. We had been asking for a smith machine in the gym for a while and they LISTENED! I was genuinely shocked to see they had stocked the snacks in the gym with high protein bars (I would buy these myself) and protein drinks in the fridge. I’ve lived in various apartments in 3 different states and most places I’ve lived have had complimentary pest control like here and I’ve always had to request the service. I couldn’t imagine pest control just coming over unnecessarily or unannounced as it seems some people said they should. I’ve found that the manager has been pretty active on fixing issues as long as she knows about them.
