They have been so helpful with everything with my children. The front office people are amazing and making and canceling appointment's. Ashanti has been so helpful with life events that have happened in my children lives. Tish is amazing at making sure everyone is on then correct medication and takes the time to listen. They are a wonderful place and everyone is willing to help all the time.
I've searched everywhere trying to find someone we could connect with and feel comfortable with. Look no further—the Center for Developing Minds is the place. My family and I have been treated with respect by both the therapist Ashanti Belle and the receptionist Terri. They've been flexible in accommodating our schedules and have always responded to our calls promptly. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and no question or concern is too small. We're very happy to have this team on our side. Thank you, Ashanti Belle and Terri; we appreciate you!
Brought our son in for help with his behavior issues, they wanted us to get our son tested for Autism, they said once they know his condition they can help. We got the results and it did not show autism, we had a follow up meeting with them which they told us the results were wrong and we needed to get re-tested. Unless your child has some form of autism they will tell you there isn’t a way they can help your child.
We were disappointed with our experience working with Kimberly Mack and would recommend looking elsewhere. Over several sessions, we found her communication style to be unproductive and often dismissive. Instead of fostering a collaborative dialogue, much of the feedback felt judgmental, particularly around our parenting approach. Her guidance leaned heavily toward punitive strategies rather than encouraging more communicative or collaborative methods. When I voiced concern about this and suggested alternative approaches that align better with our values, she engaged in debate rather than discussion. Ultimately, she recommended we find a new counselor—which we had already begun exploring.
My daughter has been going here for about a month, we absolutely love it. They also have a social group every Monday where they get pizza and get to socialize with kids their age. This is something I love the most because it benefits my daughter so much with her social struggles.
