Tamko Titan asphalt shingle roof shedding granules for weeks. Seriously more than the last 3 roofs I have had installed. Disgusting how much pressure washing and spraying off around the house is required at one month after install. The pics do not show how bad this really is. Hours of pressure washing for weeks so far.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. They do not stand behind their product or their warranty. Phase 1 of our development was built using factory defective shingles from Tamko and they only paid a small portion of the roof to replace. Additionally, after speaking with an attorney they have built into their warranty an mandatory arbitration. agreement which costs the consumer thousands of dollars before you can even take them to court. I would recommend looking at GAF shingles - much better quality, much better warranty.
In December of 2023 I put a new roof on our house using TAMKO roofing shingles, I used Titan XT shadow grey. TAMKO roofing products are the only products I'd use because I know their quality standards, and their philosophy on quality is, "Quality is what made us and it is quality that will keep us." TAMKO has the best roofing products on the market hands down.
I am a driver that delivers to Tamko in Green Cove. They are very fast and efficient. Mark is have to say is the MAN. He is always ready and very fast and always greets you with a smile and a thank you. Big ups to Mark. Thank you for making my experience so pleasurable. T
We’ve had a consistently great experience with Tamko’s Green Cove Springs location. Their products are high-quality and reliable, and their staff is knowledgeable and efficient too! What stands out most is the consistency. Whether it’s logistics coordination, product availability, or just getting accurate information, Tamko’s staff goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly. It’s clear they take pride in their operation and value long-term relationships. Highly recommend this location for contractors or builders looking for dependable roofing materials with solid support behind them. A real asset to the North Florida building community!
