We’ve just experienced a wonderful week at Swimlab in Florida. Our Coach Crystal could not have been more kind, accommodating and helpful. She immediately sat down and ascertained our goals for the week in both the land and pool sessions and kept my daughter fully engaged and motivated through out. The facilities are wonderful with both and indoor and outdoor pool in event of bad weather. The air conditioned gym is well stocked and lovely and cool. A great space to carry out the PT hour. At the end of the week my daughter (Quad CP) had made great improvements in both her walking and her swimming. 100% recommend.
Sadly we pull out from the program after finding out over the call that there is only one swimming therapist (there was not a team behind, and the only therapist was on holiday!). We understand the organization is new but you cannot operate with only one therapist and an admin who is obviously too new to answer any questions. Too much risk for us to fly from Canada for that.. they wouldn’t refund 100% we lost 20%. The refund took over a week with emails back and forth… :(
