I can't recommend Katherine Johnson and her team highly enough. From our very first conversation, she was thorough, direct, and genuinely easy to talk to about a difficult and sensitive matter. She came prepared, answered every question with real substance instead of vague reassurances, and was upfront with me even when the honest answer wasn't the easiest one to hear. That kind of candor is rare, and it's exactly what you want from someone advising you through something significant. She was the third attorney I met with for a paid consultation. Of the three she provided the most value, was the best prepared (having reviewed and thought about information in a summary document I shared before our meeting), and evinced the most knowledge of the three in spite of the fact that the other 2 had nominally more years of experience.
