We came for lunch, our server was Cody. The food was fresh and delicious. Server was awesome, on top of everything, nice and professional. Cody made the visit wonderful, and the food was excellent. The other staff was kind and appeared well groomed. Food was fresh and tasted exceptional. The Caribbean pineapple pizza was top tier!! Crust was just right, sauce and topping portions on point. Trio tacos, burger, and chicken tenders was all tasty. This is a Great beach side restaurant within walking distance. Only recommendations would be to have more shaded spots in outside seating for afternoon sun.
I absolutely love this restaurant and the variety they offer on the menu, along with the friendliness of each employee and the wonderful atmosphere. My family and I stayed a short walk away from here on vacation and came for almost every meal. Our wonderful server, Kat, took the time to remember us each time and check in with our vacation, while accommodating all of our needs as a customer. The food here is lovely and the short walk to the beach is a plus. They have a wide selection whether you’re going for breakfast, dinner, or drinks, and each time left us wanting more. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to go back to see Kat and try her new recommendations for fabulous food.
Surfside Kitchen is right in the heart of Vilano as you cross the bridge. The menu offers a good mix of items to order. The catch of the day was great, wings, drinks, and the grilled shrimp pictured. Kiana made the experience even better. What a pleasant server with a great personality and smile. Give this place a try.
Well dang, I’ve never left a bad review but I was pretty shocked by this experience. We were visiting St Augustine and wanted to try Surfside since it was on our island. We ordered two large pizzas for the family including a bunch of very hungry children. When we got home and opened the box of pizza, I was shocked that this was by far the worst pizza I’ve ever seen and tasted. Paying $20 a pie (spent $60) for what we got was very upsetting. Most of it was not edible. It was burnt to a crisp and so incredibly thin. It just crumbled apart everywhere with a bite. None of the kids would eat it, so I had to heat up a Tostitos pizza 😬 I’m not sure who they have making these pizzas but wow… they need to fix this asap. I have never in my life had a pizza that was like a thin crisp piece of rock. I reached out on their Facebook a few times with no response, I was trying to get a refund and sent my receipt along with photos 😭 No reply. 0/10
This place is SO FREAKING good. Food presentation and flavor doesn’t always go hand in hand…. BUT this place has both. They also had excellent service. Our server Cody provided immaculate service and whoever is managing that place does a really good job of keeping a good, positive atmosphere. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there and that’s not something you see often these days. 10/10 would highly recommend. We ordered the meateater pizza, Caesar salad added grilled chicken, jalapeño Margarita, And a corona light for the gentleman lol DELIC.
