Dr. Ero has performed 3 spinal surgeries on me over the last 9 years. Aside from being a gifted surgeon, he is a wonderful human being who truly cares about his patients. I was never rushed, he always explained everything in terms I could understand & he & his staff have always been there for me when needed.
Mr. Rodriquez, t It is not a Latino thing, I am Caucasian and Dr Ero ruined my back, I was in worse shape afterwards. Dr Ero does not believe in meds at ALL. I too have a pain pump and without my consent, during the surgery he cut the catheter and tied it off. I had asked ahead of time if the catheter would be in his way and if it was he could request my pain doctor be with him during the surgery. He assured me it WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. It took me 2 years before I could get someone that would correct the mess he made. I saw several Great doctors but I think they were afraid they might get tied up in litigation. Little do the know that JOI Dr's testifys for Attorneys so therefore an Attorney will not touch what they do, this man can keep putting people through h_ _ l. I finally got a terrific Dr that transferred down to our Mayo from Mayo upstate. They were wonderful. Good luck if you stay with him.
Dr. Ero put me back together and I'm at my tenth year mark and still standing thanks to him. Nothing bad will ever be said about Dr. Ero by me. He not only fixed my neck and lower back, he took on my mother's case after I spoke with him about how bad her neck was. After Dr. Ero did his magic on her, after 30 + yrs of pain and suffering severe headaches, she is finally able to turn her head and hardly has headaches anymore. Thank you very much for your help on myself and my mom Dr. Ero.
I first went to Dr. Gabriel and he told me to live with the pain because it was because of my age. Well I didn't stop until I found Dr. Ero, he was so detailed in what he could do for me which included fusing 2 disc and replacing another one. He also told me nothing is guaranteed but did feel like it was worth a shot. I had my surgery on February 14th and today I am pain free with no pain meds. This is a Doctor that really cares!
if your Latino beware of his staff, they basically think they are the Doctor. My wife had neck Surgery, went to the first visit after surgery and Dr was a no show so his staff took my wife in since it was for stitch removal. My wife has a med pump for her Back which drips only for the back. Apparently the Nurse who thinks she is the Doctor has this "I don't understand that thick Latino accent" and so decided to refuse to get my wife Valium pills of 5mg, for pain in the shoulders, which this Nurse told my wife "oh those pills are just muscle relaxer, see if the Pain Clinic will write the script. This Nurse said it was Dr. Ero's decision but I truly think this Nurse misunderstood my wife and figured we must be pill poppers because why is Mrs Rodriguez talking about getting rid of Oxy pills. The Pain Clinic does not provide a script for work done by another doctor, and this Nurse knows this. I am so surprised that Dr Ero did not at-least call my wife to excuse himself for not seeing her at the office on her first after surgery appointment. Here is the thing I am upset about my wife and how she gets pain late at night and the 5mg of Valium helps but now she will run out and can't get a script so I figured I would complain here.
