Sun and Sea Beach Weddings

My husband and I got married at the Castlegate home this past November. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to achieve in our wedding. We had Maddy as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She worked very closely with us the whole way and even met up with us at the house beforehand to walk us through ideas. We wanted a darker color scheme given the time of season and she really delivered with the decorations. She took our vision and made it way more beautiful than I even imagined. Any questions we had along the way she was super responsive to, even if we asked her the same questions multiple times lol. She was very patient and kind with us as we learned the ins and outs of having a successful wedding. She was so organized the day of. I didn't have to worry about anything. I was able to get ready and Maddy put in all the work to make sure the day ran smoothly. We had an amazing photographer, Dan. He made us laugh and made the whole photo process very stress free and got good, authentic photos of us, our families and friends. He abided to my photo shot list that I wanted of specific things and made sure to follow it. He helped so much with directing people on how to pose as well for a group of people who really don't take professional photos often. He truly captured the beauty of our day and the love that surrounded us. We had a super fun DJ, Shawn. He gave my husband and I a fun idea on how to dance into the reception, and that really helped us look past the cloud of nerves we had and it allowed us to loosen up and have fun. He was great at communicating with us and making sure we had the music we really wanted to throw a great party. Nick was always so helpful if we ever needed anything. He got us connected with our amazing coordinator, and he was super kind, helpful and communicative whenever we needed him. I would recommend this place to anyone! They have so many beautiful locations and affordable packages that you can tailor to your needs. Thank you Sun and Sea for giving us the most perfect wedding day! We will be forever grateful.

Sun and Sea, Nick and our wedding planner extraordinaire, Maddy, truly made my fairytale come true!! I don’t know where to begin…there aren’t enough stars…sun and Sea, the wedding package at Castlegate, the coordination…all a well oiled machine! We were married Nov 2025 and everything truly exceeded my expectations! The package we chose included DJ (great job Shawn!!), flowers, cake, officiant (Steven…you made the ceremony extra special) and photographer…oh and staying in the magnificent castlegate house! I was a bit concerned about releasing control (I may have mild control issues haha) and having Sun and Sea handle so much, but after meeting with Maddy the very first time I had zero concerns and utmost confidence in her and Sun and Sea!! Maddy was always available to answer my (gazillion ha!) questions or concerns, she was very professional, kind and knowledgeable…oh and patient!! The process flowed seamlessly and allowed me to focus on all the million other little details that go into this special day. Our wedding day was magical! Truly MAGICAL! It was everything I envisioned and more. Maddy was there from start to finish. She works so hard and all while calm, cool and with a beautiful smile that can put anyone at ease. I researched a ton before booking with Sun and Sea…don’t waste your time…BOOK IT…this is your sign :)! Thank you Nick, Maddy and Sun and Sea! Beyond grateful!

I had such a good experience with sun and sea. They took my stress away and did all the decorating and coordinating. Everything turned out beautiful. We did a beach wedding in st augustine and reception at odd birds cafe and this was all planned in 2.5 months and they made the process so smooth. My coordinator was Josie and she was so helpful with any questions I had. My day was beautiful.
