I cannot recommend Brittany Duvall highly enough! She was absolutely fantastic through what turned into an incredibly long and frustrating home-selling process. We listed our Jacksonville home just as the housing market slowed down, and our house ended up sitting on the market for about five months before we finally found buyers. Brittany never became complacent or made us feel like we were just another listing. She continued looking for ways to get the house noticed, changed up photos when the listing needed refreshing, gave us great recommendations, and stayed on top of everything while we were living out of state. Once we finally had buyers, we entered what turned into an incredibly painful VA loan assumption process. After nearly two months of paperwork and back-and-forth with Mr. Cooper, we were TWO DAYS from closing when we learned that our mortgage had been transferred to M&T Bank the week before. We essentially had to start the VA assumption process all over again with a new mortgage company. Through all of it, Brittany went far beyond what I would normally expect from a Realtor. She spent countless hours on the phone with the mortgage companies trying to keep things moving and get answers. Because we had already moved to Virginia, she regularly checked on the house for us, coordinated repairs, went out to get quotes when necessary, and handled things locally that we simply couldn’t. She also seems to have “a person” for just about every house issue imaginable — and everyone she recommended was reliable, reasonably priced, and did quality work. What really sets Brittany apart, though, is that she genuinely looks out for her clients. She has years of experience, knows the Jacksonville market extremely well, and gives honest advice rather than simply telling you what you want to hear. By the end of this very long journey, she felt much more like a friend who happened to be our Realtor than someone simply trying to close a transaction. Our sale required an incredible amount of patience, persistence, and extra work on her part, and she never stopped advocating for us or helping us through it. If you are buying or selling in the Jacksonville area, especially if you want someone experienced who will actually be there when things get complicated, Brittany is exactly the person you want in your corner. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough for everything she did for us!
