Starfish Pediatrics

I am have been bringing my son here for about 6 years, he is 10 now. We have never had an issue getting a same day appointment or waiting a long time in the waiting room. The doctors are great and the nurses are polite. I feel like they take a more natural approach rather than push antibiotics or other prescription medicines, which I appreciate. I am shocked to read some of the negative reviews on here, I have never encountered rudeness here and have always had the doctor's answer all of my questions without feeling rushed. I also love that they are bilingual (English/Spanish), as my son is bilingual and this allows his grandma to bring him to appointments too. I would definitely recommend!

Jeanette is the rudest person. Absolute rudest person I've ever met. She has so much attitude and rolls your eyes when you inquire about anything. As a new patient coming from out of state, I was told that I needed to schedule two appointments: one for a checkup and a second one for the doctor to complete the necessary paperwork needed for my children's school. I gave them the stamped copy of my children's vaccination records as well as the information about their last pediatric office. They told me that everything would be uploaded by the following week. This week when I arrived for their second appointment, nothing had been uploaded. They were confused about whether or not this was a checkup. I was informed that it would take time for them to upload the documents. Keep in mind, we were there for 2 hrs the week before and nearly 2 today. I don't think Jeanette or any of the other people in the office want to work. The doctors are nice, but everybody else is very incompetent. Not worth it... Especially to deal with Jeanette. I will be looking for a new doctor

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn other parents about this pediatrician’s office. My experience here has been consistently frustrating and disappointing. The front desk staff and receptionists are shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Simple requests are met with eye rolls or ignored altogether, and any paperwork or forms take forever to get completed—often only after multiple follow-ups. It feels like no one in the office wants to do their job. The lack of urgency and care when handling anything administrative is not only inconvenient, but inexcusable—especially when it impacts your child’s care or delays access to services. Communication is poor, and you're made to feel like you're a burden just for asking a question or needing a document filled out. This office desperately needs new management, better training, and staff who actually care about helping families. Until then, I strongly recommend finding another pediatrician who respects your time and treats patients and parents with the basic courtesy they deserve.

Never bring your kids Don't take your children to this place—it's terrible. It lacks hygiene, and the staff are very rude I will never bring my kids again
