Mike helped my teenage son go through some really difficult years in early high school. He was a voice of reason but also was able to listen without judgment and offer him some great strategies for overcoming his negative self talk. He was deeply depressed and it was terrifying at the time. I truly believe Mike helped to save my son’s life. He has moved to the maintenance phase of therapy, will be graduating from high school with a scholarship for college in May and a new perspective on dealing with depression and overcoming self doubt and external pressure. Mike is an excellent counselor. I've had years of experience in counseling and haven't quite met a match like him for our marriage. He really works for us. He is a compassionate Christian man who challenges you to live your best for Jesus. He gives you very practical tools to use and fix issues. I find him very easy to talk to, non judgemental and even funny... He has a good sense of humor. I really enjoy going and reflect often on wisdom he shares thru the week. I highly recommend him.

We took our son and he was excellent! Quick to respond, but most importantly had a great way of relating and communicating with my child. It was important to have a therapist that he felt comfortable with. my son will request an appointment if he feels he needs to talk about "stuff". I would highly recommend Mike Stapleton. Embracing the decision to see a counselor is not always an easy one. It became clear in my first appointment with Mike that this was the right decision.
