Visited from Savannah, Georgia with my family. The people were welcoming, lovely, and hospitable. Father Ted and Deacon Father were approachable and engaging. I spoke with them at length during my visit. The parish is growing and expanding to meet the space needs of the community. Lots of young families. The on-site park was a gem. Glory to God. Highly recommend if you're in Jacksonville. Beautiful OCA church reminiscent of my parish.
This community quickly took my family and I in and gave us a family when I got stationed here. This parish is one of the warmest most family like groups I have ever seen, in or out of a church setting. The demographic is broad, the food is great, and the theology is rock solid. I did not know what to expect from Jacksonville, but this community has made my time here wonderful. 5 of 5 stars all day.
My family tried to become part of this church many times, but we never felt welcomed due to the very cold atmosphere of the community. I believe this stems from Father Ted, the director of the church, who is more of a businessman than a spiritual leader.
Welcoming and loving people who worship the true God!
I voted here, for the primary election on October 9th (2022), and got a neat little voting sticker that says "I voted!" Amazing place with very friendly people that greet you upon entering.
