St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is a truly beautiful and welcoming parish. The main church is magnificent, peaceful, and perfect for prayer and reflection, while the historic “Old Church” on Loretto Road (dating back to 1912) is absolutely charming and rich in history. It’s wonderful that both spaces are preserved and used, offering a unique spiritual experience. The parish is incredibly inclusive, offering Mass in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish, which makes everyone feel at home. They celebrate many religious festivities throughout the year, and the Christmas Eve celebration was especially beautiful and memorable. Father John is amazing—very kind, approachable, and genuinely caring. The Cody Center hosts numerous events and celebrations as well. Recently, they organized Ash Wednesday services when other churches were full due to language-specific Masses, which shows their commitment to serving the community. The staff is friendly, and the parishioners who volunteer are warm, welcoming, and generous with their time. Whether you are a long-time member or visiting for the first time, you truly feel embraced here. Overall, a peaceful, vibrant, and faith-filled community that welcomes everyone with open arms. 🙏✨
Best church ever. Such nice greeters, friendly clergy, lots going on in the Parrish. Knight of Columbus very active in charitable work, even during this pandemic. Recent total renovation of the inside and outside makes it look completely new. This makes for a very comfortable space with few distractions to worship.
The Veneration of the Cross and Solemn Liturgical Observance with Holy Communion which I attended yesterday, was magnificently presided by the Priest Rev Rodolfo Godinez whom enchanted the liturgical assembly with your engaging homily enhancing God’s eternal love for us all! What a blessing experience!
Beautiful church, but when they started playing the rock band music and bongos, I had to leave. I couldn't focus on what was important. I will be staying across the street at the TLM.
I'm afraid the music at the NO mass is a bit much or me. It seems at times it's the main attraction; looking for some sacred silence; at least during communion, and so I attend the latin rite mostly.
