If you have an exotic pet, Dr. Beckner is the one to see! She is SO SWEET, friendly, empathetic, gentle and clearly loves and deeply cares for all of her patients. She has a calming presence (that helps both the pets and the pet parents!) and always takes a little extra time to spoil her patients after their exams whether it’s with some cuddles…or a mini pool party for my duck Eli! 😍 He doesn’t like people or being handled and she makes it as stress-free as she can for him and I can tell he feels safe with her. ❤️ Thank you Dr. Beckner!!

St John's Veterinary Hospital's staff always treat my pets with love and kindness. We were put in a room with our Peechez less than 5 minutes after our arrival and her doctor was in to see her, examined her, provide treatment for her, and we were on our way home in less than 30 minutes! We love St John's Veterinary Hospital staff ❤️ Oh I forgot to mention they all said Peechez looks AMAZING for 16yrs old and she's one of the prettiest pomeranian/chihuahua mix they have EVER seen! Thank you St John's Veterinary Hospital for taking such good care of our Fur babies 🐕 🐕!

This was our first visit to St. John’s Veterinary Hospital, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We brought our Eclectus parrot, Rainbow, in to see Dr. Meghan Beckner. From the start, Dr. Beckner was incredibly kind and gentle with Rainbow. She showed genuine warmth and patience, taking the time to make sure our bird felt safe and comfortable throughout the visit. It was clear she truly cares about her patients. The facility itself is impressive—very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring. Thank you, Dr. Beckner, for the excellent care you gave Rainbow. We highly recommend St. John’s Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality care—especially for exotic pets like birds. We’ll definitely be back.

We are so pleased with the level of support expertise and care our 14 y/o Cocker Spaniel's recent illness and treatment for a rare form of cancer. Dr. Paul went above and beyond our expectations for her weeks on end! She took the time explaining each test's necessity and results....when training us to help our dog achieve best care. Her surgical skill was so appreciated when biopsy confirmed clean margins.
