  I am taking the time today to express my appreciation for the assistance you all provided in helping me to obtain the loan modification needed for me and my family to remain in our home! Due to multiple factors involving Hurricanes, major home repairs, a lay-off and COVID-19, maintaining my home and the monthly payments for it became increasingly difficult. Despite multiple lump sum payment attempts and repair negotiations; I found myself facing Foreclosure. Without any assistance I completed three applications for a modification and my lender denied each request. While catching up with a good friend and venting about this embarrassing, worrisome situation I was facing she gave me a smidgen of hope. My friend explained to me how St. Johns Housing Partnership has helped many homeowners get the mortgage assistance needed to save their homes. I gave the agency a call and was quickly introduced to Kelsey! I explained my situation to Kelsey and how I felt like I was just going through the motions because I had already been denied three times by my lender for a modification. Kelsey explained how they specialized in the completion of modification applications and that they knew how to address the underwriters in this process. After hearing her confidence in what they could possibly do, I sent and completed the documents she requested. Within one week’s time of submitting the completed documents to my lender Kelsey called me one morning and told me my application had been approved! I do not have the words to express the feelings of relief and pure elation that came over me! I purchased my home as a single parent at the age of twenty-four almost 17 years ago. I have raised all four of my children here and this is the only home they know. We Love our Home Very Much!! I stand in much appreciation and am forever thankful for the efforts and work put forth by Kelsey and her team at St. Johns Housing Partnership!!
