Was always told this was a quick an efficient dmv clearly things have changed. I have come to this location two days in a row as I work near by an it was convenient. Sat for 45 minutes Tuesday and then an 1 1/2 Wednesday morning only to leave because I needed to get to work . I asked the guard up front if things were running behind and was told no things were fine . I checked in Wednesday morning and after I left at 10 I never took my name off the waiting list just to see how long I actually would have had to wait finally after 11:00 that day I got a text saying I was ready to be seen . This is not ok an having 4 tellers working is not ok with all the empty booths . Don’t open locations if you aren’t appropriately staffed you are not only wasting tax payers money by being open and achieving nothing but also wasting the tax payers time that pays for you to be there I will not be back an will make sure to recommend going to the main office off of US1 where I have never waited more then 30 minutes in all the years I have been going
It was a lot of people when we got there. It was about 11:30 am. but we gave to the guy in the window and he said it was going to mail. because I have to go and pick my granddaughter from school. and that was real nice of him. by the way, it was a handicap placard.
Just moved here and went to register my car and update my drivers license. This office is a breath of fresh air. Helpful, patient, knowledgeable. What a wonderful experience. I was a walk in and it was crowded (apparently Mondays & Fridays are their busy days), but even so thanks to the wonderful staff I walked out with a brand-new FL drivers license and license plate!
Wanda Jackson, window number 2, is probably the most rude DMV employee I have ever encountered. Was rude right off the bat, asked if I wanted to register to vote, when I inquired if there would be any extra fee, she responded with "what do you think, honestly what do you think". And proceeded to lecture me. Refused to let me show her a lease on my phone to later let me show her information on my phone to "get this over with". Was sarcastic and rude the entire time I was there. I'm surprised she still has a job with the multiple complaints against her on the reviews.
The bald old lady seems to be a little bit rude. Everybody else is very polite and educated.. Please send her to downtown Jacksonville with that attitude. Let’s not ruin the atmosphere in that place.
