The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce continues to play a vital role in supporting local businesses and strengthening the economic fabric of Northeast Florida. For more than a century, the Chamber has served as a connector for entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders, creating opportunities for collaboration, advocacy, and sustainable growth throughout the county. Through networking events, leadership initiatives, and educational programs, the Chamber provides a valuable platform where businesses of all sizes can engage, share ideas, and build meaningful partnerships. Their commitment to supporting the local economy and fostering a thriving business environment is clearly visible in the quality and scale of the events they organize for the community. Last night I had the pleasure of attending their annual event held at the beautiful TPC Sawgrass, home of the famous The Players Championship. It was an outstanding evening that brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The venue itself created the perfect backdrop for networking, conversation, and celebration of the local business community. One of the highlights of the evening was the exceptional food and beverage experience, made possible by an impressive lineup of local partners. Guests were treated to a variety of delicious offerings from: • 1928 Cuban Bistro • 3J’s Catering • 4 Rivers Smokehouse • Bold City Brewery • Catered Cocktails • East Coast West Coast Bosses • Firebirds Wood Fired Grill • Fresh Monkee • JaxSpice • Nothing Bundt Cakes • Seasons 52 • The Reef • Whiskey Cake Each partner brought something unique to the table, creating a wonderful culinary showcase of the region’s diverse food scene. From savory bites to sweet treats and refreshing beverages, the evening truly highlighted the talent and creativity of local food and beverage businesses. Events like this demonstrate why the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce continues to be such an important force in the community. By bringing businesses together, celebrating local partners, and creating meaningful connections, the Chamber helps strengthen the local economy while fostering a sense of collaboration and pride in the region. It was truly an enjoyable evening, and a great reminder of how vibrant and supportive the business community in St. Johns County continues to be.

I can’t say enough good things about the St. Johns Chamber of Commerce. As a brand new business owner, their support during the launch of Sun-Kissed Lemon Society has meant the world. From day one, they’ve been welcoming, helpful, and genuinely excited for our success. They made our ribbon cutting feel so special, checked in regularly, and consistently made us feel like we weren’t alone in the process. If you’re opening a business in St. Johns County, joining the Chamber is one of the most valuable steps you can take. We’re so grateful to be part of such an amazing and supportive community!
Definitely a tourist Trap!!!! $40.00 to park and attendee was extremely rude. So many people on roads not built for the volume of people. The place is dirty and stinks. Will not come back.
I recently stayed at a wonderful bed-and-breakfast, the Augustin Inn, in your fair city. The great history is wonderful, and the amenities and the restaurants are also top notch. However, the number of vagrants lining the streets was embarrassing. We saw more vagrants in Saint Augustine than we did on our recent visit to New York City. The urine smell was almost unbearable on St. George’s Street. The days we were there, some had boom boxes, others animals, and others singing, and playing their instruments so loudly and poorly. I know that so many suffer nowadays because of the economy, but the tourist district should remain clean.
I try to come to Saint Augustine at least once a year. This year I was highly disappointed. It seems like the homeless people are everywhere and totally detract from the beauty of the city. I as a tourist don't like to see beggars on the corners looking for handouts. This year may have been my last year to visit St Augustine which really is a shame.
