St Francis Inn Bed and Breakfast

The St Francis went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The shared spaces were beautiful and cozy. The food and drinks were delicious. There was a drink stand available at all times with ice cold water and tea. And a wide selection of hot tea as well as coffee. The pool was clean and a nice range of depth. And the room! Such a beautiful mix of history and modern comfort. I am already planning my next trip!!

Just stayed here on a solo trip to St. Augustine, and couldn’t have enjoyed myself more. The staff is gracious, friendly, and accommodating. The amenities are excellent. There was a wide selection of coffee, iced beverages, Cocktails, wine, and the morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Although I didn’t have time to enjoy it, I like the fact that this place had a little pool and I did take advantage of the courtyard, which has a couple resident kitties lounging about. The courtyard was curated with lots of plants, flowers, string lighting and even a little Koi pond. I love the statues and references to St. Francis all throughout the property and the little bits of history about the Inn and the town. Special mention for Mary, who was my bartender at the snug out back, a cute little bar where guests can go to enjoy a drink. Pam, L, and Karen were also wonderful. I Live in Orlando so I have frequented St. Augustine many times, but the next time I’m in town I will definitely stay here again because it’s been my best experience so far! Thanks for the hospitality, ladies!

We only stayed for one night in the upstairs. King suite, which was away from everything. And was very nice, the hotel itself was very clean, smaller quarters, older building breakfast was average, write on the main drag. Saint George place has been around forever. The maintenance man was great. When I jumped in the pool, not a lot of options for pools in the city. I have to say that was a great touch. 2 blocks from the water very quiet, very safe. The endkeeper was a very nice man. The cook food preparation woman was nice. There was a local cat that lives on the grounds parking right across the street. It was a rainy day but still had a good time all in all. Not too bad for $300 a night.

My husband and I stayed in the Balcony Room at St. Francis Inn for our anniversary, and we had a wonderful experience. The inn is incredibly cozy, charming, and full of character. The location is perfect, close to everything and easily walkable, which made exploring St. Augustine so convenient. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and they helped make our stay feel special from start to finish. We loved relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. We chose to add on the chocolate covered strawberries to our stay, and they were incredible. The only area that could use some improvement is the shower water pressure, which was a little weaker than we would have preferred. Other than that, our stay was fantastic, and we would happily return for another visit!
