Great service from start to finish. The doctor clearly explained our pup’s condition and the treatment options without being pushy about any particular course of action, which we really appreciated. They were transparent about costs, providing a care estimate ranging from $400–$1,500 depending on the treatment needed. It made a stressful situation much easier to navigate, and we felt informed and supported throughout the visit.
Where do I begin? I have a maltese mix which had an ectopic ureter. I went to another vet to get her spayed and have her ureter fixed. After a month, issues huge issues arise from this surgery. My dog had started to urinate what looked like jellyish blood. I took her in to the emergency vet and was told my dog was very sick, she had to be hospitalized immediately that I should go back to the specialist and get ultrasound and testing done. I appreciate she didnt make me waste my money there but gave me information I needed. The next morning I went to the specialist and my dog was transferred to UF Shands ICU unit. She was diagnosed with encrusting cysitis and would not have made it any longer had we waited. I had kept communication with the vet that performed the surgery but my worries kept getting pushed under the rug. Had I not hone to see Dr Lopez my angel would be a pet of the past. I cant thank you enough. Ive called your office to thank you personally but always seem to miss you. You may not remember us but we will always be thankful to you.
Was my first time here after an emergency. The staff and doctors were amazing, made me feel calm and comfortable at a bad time. My dog needed stitches and they took really good care of him, any questions I had throughout were answered. Thank you for saving Milos life and being good to my baby boy!!!! Happy new year!!!
HUGE shout-out to this Emergency Vet and the staff that works all through the night to care for our fur babies!!! I cannot express how grateful we are for Dr. Lopez and Brantley. Our girl, Willow, needed emergency surgery due to a build up in her intestine. We were pretty nervous but Brantley made us feel so much better, knowing she would be well taken care of before, during, and after surgery. He was so sweet and extra attentive. Dr. Lopez was very nice and explained everything so that we knew exactly what was going on and how she would fix it. We're beyond thankful for her. Willow's surgery went very well and is recovering beautifully!! Thank you for saving her life and taking such good care of her 🩷
We brought our very sick cat in and after visiting our usually vet twice without any plan or diagnosis, Dr Lopez and the team were able to identify that my cat was in liver failure. We ultimately made the hard choice to put her down later that morning, but had it not been for dr Lopez we would have not known what to do to make our precious kitty the most comfortable. We will always be grateful to this vet and her amazing team, thank you to Brenton as well helping us thru this difficult time
