Just transferred from another VA clinic and was greeted by wonderful staff. They helped me complete the right paperwork, even let me go back to schedule my appointments needed to be seen within the next few weeks. Very helpful and friendly. Those complaining of long phone call times about wasting a lunch break obviously don't have much else to do but complain. Thank you for all you doing helping us veterans! (many working their are veterans themselves.)
With all the negative news about the VA over the past few years people forget the microscope they are under. In my opinion, this VA clinic exceeds my expectations for a clinic. Their nursing staff is great and they always follow up and they don't make you feel hurried. The only area they could improve on in my opinion is their phone directory when you call in, that is pretty confusing if you don't know the 100 acronyms. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic to other veterans.
I had my visit lab work, 01/09/2020 and my first doctor visit 01/10/2020, the reception, respect and care almost brought to tears. This is the first time since being enrolled in VA since 1985 that I was made to feel my service and sacrifices were truly appreciated. The reception received from Deborah Lincoln who checked me in, to LPN Paige Smith who took my vitals and recorded my medical history and my doctor, Dr. Deepali Agralwal was the finest and best ever received. My gratitude and thanks to them and all the care providers, technicians and staff, my undying gratitude from a very grateful Vietnam Veteran.
Is this clinic running on part-timers or volunteers? 10 minutes just to answer the phone at the main number. Getting a call transferred to the right person. Never happens. It just rings off the hook. My original processing for a new ID (that was over 3 weeks ago) was supposed to take 10 days. You don't have much confidence in getting this ID when the volunteer says "if you don't receive it in 10 days, call and will try to hunt it down". Now I have sincere appreciation for volunteers but the processing of IDs that is being done on the fly on either a Monday or Friday or whenever he decides to show up. is a little frustrating and to call and here, "Not in today, try next week" After 3 weeks still no ID and my call on Friday..."Not in, try next week on Monday". Why is it that they don't process your ID's at this location but it has to be sent in the mail. Really? Could they maybe buy a $50 heat sealer to process a Vets ID so they could walk out with it rather than waiting supposedly 10 days and then losing it and having to make the rounds of finding out where it is? VA reform? Not here. Exhausting.
I've never been mistreated. They have taken good care of me and most important of all, I love my doctor.
