St. Augustine Island Inn

We had a overall great experience. Last minute we decided to stay overnight in St Augustine. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even offered to give us a discount for the next day. We were unable to do so because of work but it was still nice. Beach was super close, we drove about 2 miles down the road to the public access beaches. Room was very clean, we would definitely stay again!

Definitely read the reviews on this place U all. Everything that people are saying about the rude lady downstairs is absolutely true. She had a very nasty attitude. She was standing outside while I was checking in and started. Looking through the windows of our car My wife then rolled the window down, and she stuck her head inside the car and started hollering they have kids, to the guy in the office which FYI when you show up If you have kids with you, they charge $25 extra per kid which I was inside paying for when she started her haulering. Also, the bed had hairs all in it. The blankets had burn holes all over them, one of the towels had a mystery brown stain on it. The toilet paper roller was falling off the wall. And the clothing rack in the closet looked like somebody took a baseball bat to it. They also leave the hotel side doors to each floor open all night and do not turn the AC on in the hallways of the hotel it was like a 100° walking inside the hallways to our room. This was probably the worst experience i've ever had staying at a hotel.

Location is amazing, and the pool is very nice. Its a little older hotel but hey when all you need is a place to lay your head this meets your needs! Family ran and very nice ppl! My only complaint, i wish the chairs in the rooms were a lil more comfortable. Overall i give the spot a 8.5/10 bc of location and the pool area.

This hotel was everything as expected. It is an older property but we knew that before staying. The couple running the hotel were so nice and accommodating to our group. We stayed 5 nights. Rooms were clean and property was clean. We were only one block away from beach access and close to all the local restaurants on the island. Would definitely come back again!
