Sr. Ceviche Jax Beach

Fresh, Flavorful, Generous Portions, Nice atmosphere and Excellent service (Alessandra and others). Our first time visiting a Sr Ceviche, even though we do enjoy Peruvian Food. This location says Jax Beach, but it sure feels like it's in Neptune Beach. What we loved? The very clean, cozy, yet fresh and smart interior, the Welcoming, Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff (like Alessandra). The intense, hardworking and talented Kitchen Team, Back of House Staff.They never stand still and they make all these wonderful flavors come together for such delicious, fresh and crave-able dishes. Our first time turned into a second visit within 4 days. It's that good. My husband ordered the Seafood Chowder, both times, fresh, flavorful and again crave-able. The portion size really is enough to serve 4 people a cup of soup. We tried the mussels, the Beef Tips, with rice and potatoes, (Im not a carb person but the sauce, or the au jus, was drinkable so Im glad I had some carbs to soak it all up) and the Seafood Citrus Ceviche (ps I removed the fresh flow, but they do use flowers which is a great presentation). Oh, and the delicious chocolate cake, the flavor and texture are amazing and it's not too sweet. They serve alcohol so we have a couple glasses of chardonnay. We are already planning a 3- couples get-together there very soon. We are fans of Sr Ceviche and can truly say this restaurant is our FAVORITE restaurant here at the beaches. This place is worth every dollar plus another! The surrounding restaurants might want to take notice. Sr Ceviche has raided the bar! Highly recommend!

I recently visited this Peruvian restaurant, and I can honestly say it was one of the most interesting dining experiences I’ve had in Jacksonville. The cuisine is very different from what I’m used to, and it was exciting to explore new flavors and dishes. Everything I ordered felt fresh and new to me — even the ceviche, which I’ve tried before, came in a completely different style. I would rate this place a solid 4 out of 5. There were a couple of small drawbacks, but I’m hoping they were just off-moments rather than something consistent. First, our drinks took quite a long time to arrive. Second, no one took our order for about 20 minutes after we were seated and we were the only ones. We were unsure if we were supposed to order online or wait for the server. That said, the overall service was still warm and welcoming. Our waiter was friendly, smiling, and very helpful in explaining all the dishes. I ordered the lunch special for $18, which included an appetizer and an entrée — a great value and very tasty. You can also choose items from their traditional menu, which had quite a few interesting options that I definitely want to try next time. Overall, I would recommend giving this place a try. I’m planning to come back again to explore more of their menu.

The ceviche here is absolutely delicious—fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of citrus and spice. Every bite tasted clean and flavorful, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. By the time I left, I was full and happy because everything we tried was spot-on. The atmosphere matched the food, making the whole experience even better. If you get the chance to go, don’t hesitate—it’s definitely worth it!
